The Golden State Warriors are facing an uphill battle. Inconsistency, struggles at home, and an aging core have hampered their performance all season. Despite these challenges, a play-in tournament berth remains a possibility.

Steph Curry, acknowledging the team’s precarious position, called for a renewed sense of urgency after their recent loss to the Indiana Pacers. “Every game counts,” he emphasized, highlighting the importance of a strong finish. Building momentum before the play-in tournament is crucial for Coach Steve Kerr’s squad.

Currently, the Warriors would need to win two do-or-die games to qualify for the playoffs. This path is difficult, regardless of their opponents. The upcoming stretch of games will be a true test of their resilience.

“I’m never going to shy away from my responsibility when it comes to playing well every night.” Steph isn’t using anything as an excuse for the Warriors’ struggles.

The sixth seed is likely out of reach for Golden State at this point. As such, the best they can do now, is try to develop some momentum and get ready for a gruelling two games that will define how we view their season.
